Teams: Seattle Seahawks (1-0 SU, 0-1 ATS) vs. LA Rams (0-1 SU, 0-1 ATS)
Game Time: 4:05 PM EST Kickoff on Sunday, September 18, 2016
Location: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California
Betting Preview
The Rams relocated from St. Louis in the offseason and they’ll play their first home game in Los Angeles since 1994 when they host the NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Los Angeles was shut out in a humbling 28-0 loss at San Francisco as a -2.5-point favorite in the season opener while Seattle won but failed to cover the -10.5-point spread in a 12-1+ victory over the Dolphins.
Seattle has concerns over the health of quarterback Russell Wilson who drove the team 75 yards for the winning touchdown pass with 31 seconds to play in the win over Miami, but reportedly suffered a fairly significant ankle injury in the game. Good news for the Rams who will have no chance if they try to win in a shootout, and their only hope is to slow down the Seahaws offense and catch a few lucky breaks when on the ball.
The Rams won both regular-season matchups last year; 34-31 at St. Louis in overtime in Week 1 and 23-17 at home in Week 16.
